GMI Worship Course

A worship course that will greatly benefit churches, worship teams, and those who desire to grow and lead others in worship.

ABOUT THE COURSE

The course covers a wide range of topics, equipping participants with valuable insights and practical skills. Led by experienced church leaders, worship leaders and musicians who are passionate about nurturing growth in worship, this course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of worship and empower individuals to lead with excellence.
  • The Course Curriculum contains various topics under the below heads:
  • Theology of Worship
  • The Worship Leader
  • The Worship Team
  • Worship and Related Ministries
  • Worship Retreat - Leading Worship and Song Writing
  • Course Structure
  • Online sessions over 5 Saturdays from 8.30am to 1.30pm
  • 8 Practical sessions from 18-20 January at an in-person Worship
  • Retreat where participants will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned. This hands-on experience will enhance their skills and build confidence in leading worship

  • Course Cost
  • Rs. 5000/- plus the retreat cost
  • Selection Criteria for Course Candidates
  • Be a committed Christian and be a regular and active member of a local church (for at least the last 12 months)
  • Should be water baptised
  • Is being discipled or is willing to be discipled
  • Is part of the local church worship team or will join the worship team within 1 month of joining the course
  • Is recommended to join the course by the local pastor
  • Be at least 16 years of age by the time they start the course
  • Have successfully completed Grade 10 or be proficient in spoken and written English
  • Clears the interview process
